William C. Power
William C. Power was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on January 19, 1959. He is a 1977 graduate of Martinsburg High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in 1981 and graduate degree (J.D. 1984) from West Virginia University. Mr. Power is licensed to practice in West Virginia, Maryland, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia and the District of Maryland. He is a member of the Berkeley County, West Virginia and Maryland Bar Associations and the West Virginia and Maryland State Bar. Mr. Power is a former clerk for the Honorable Charles H. Haden, II, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia and former staff attorney and hearing examiner for the West Virginia Fund. He is one of the founding partners of Power, Beck & Matzureff. Mr. Power limits his practice to social security disability, SSI claims. Mr. Powers has been recognized as one of the top 50 attorneys in West Virginia. Mr. Power represents many individual clients. His family has been in the Martinsburg community for more than 60 years and both his grandfather and father were well-known local physicians. Mr. Power resides in Martinsburg.
